Named for the homeland planet of the comedy alien Alf (for the younger ones among you: this was a cult show of the late 80s), this optically very strange looking variety of "Psilocybe Cubensis" is actually a purposefully cultivated magic mushroom and not one from the wild or even from outer space. Closely related to the provocatively named "Penis Envy" strain of magic mushrooms, it has little in common with the latter visually, although genetically it contains many of the latter's characteristics. A conspicuously thick, white-bluish stalk leads into a wrinkled, wavy, golden-brown cap. Melmac grow kits consistently produce solid yields with remarkable potency and consistency.
