About Skywalker Haze

In the late 1990s, Dutch Passion’s Skywalker was a renowned strain. This original Skywalker strain was created by crossing two traditional Dutch Passion strains: Blueberry and Mazar. The breeders then decided to go for a super potent strain, and thus Skywalker Haze was born out of their efforts.

Skywalker Haze is the product of a cross between the original Skywalker (Blueberry x Mazar) and Amsterdam Amnesia. Another noteworthy fact is that Skywalker Haze won the 3rd prize in December 2020’s Homegrown Cup under Haze Indoor-grow category!

Growing conditions of Skywalker Haze

Skywalker Haze is an easy-to-grow plant that adapts well to its surroundings. This strain may be cultivated indoors and well suited for outdoor-grow as well. Although, it’s not advised for temperate conditions or highly northern or southern regions. The strain is usually characterized by a longer flowering time. This could cause the breeders a few issues owing to the long maturity time with changing weather.

Yield and Flowering time of Skywalker Haze

Skywalker Haze is a powerful Sativa weed strain. These plants are known for their aggressive development and flowering period, and their sturdy branches and big size. The typical flowering time for Skywalker Haze is nine weeks. Certain plants may require a little more time to ripen fully, which may extend for 10 to (max) 11 weeks.
During the flowering phase, she can extend quite a bit. This is quite visible in the first two weeks after being put on a photoperiod of 12/12 in a regulated indoor grow. Skywalker Haze produces huge buds that may easily yield 600g per m2 indoors. However, it may produce significant yields of over 800g per plant when grown outdoors with plenty of soil and adequate nutrients.

Scent, Flavour, and Effects of Skywalker Haze

The aroma of this Sativa-dominant Haze hybrid is strong and delicious, with notes of citrus and berries. Some phenotypes have a pronounced lemon and herb scent. Other variants have slightly earthier overtones and a blueberry fragrance. Overall, a terpene profile that is both unique and diverse. The effect of this strain is equal to the name.
