To breed Aqua Verde, the Elev8 Seeds team went to great lengths to get their hands on the rare original Strawberry Cough clone, which they then crossed with Chili Verde. Aqua Verde brings together the sweet strawberry taste of Strawberry Cough with the spicy, pungent flavour of Chili Verde, creating a unique smoking experience.

You'll usually notice this as a tingling sensation between the temples, which is the start of the cerebral high that takes you into a euphoric and energetic state. The taste of Aqua Verde is dominated by the spicy-hot terpene profile of Chilli Verde. When you smoke it, you'll first taste notes of lavender and pepper on your tongue, which are then overpowered by the sweet strawberry flavour that Aqua Verde inherited from Strawberry Cough as you exhale. This hybrid strain offers a particularly extensive taste experience when smoked, with a great balance of spicy and sweet flavours.

 

These feminised seeds produce strong plants that promise a great harvest when grown indoors or outdoors. The plants are pretty easy to look after and don't need any special care, so they're great for inexperienced growers. If you grow them in a tent, the plants stay pretty manageable, reaching an average height of 70 to 120 cm. Once the flowering period is over, which is about 8 to 9 weeks, the flowers and leaves covered in trichomes stand out beautifully against the dark green colour. As a best-case scenario, you can expect to get around 550 grams per square metre with Aqua Verde. If you decide to grow it outdoors, you can expect the plants to reach 160 to 180 cm in height, with fan leaves that may take on a slight reddish tint during flowering if night-time temperatures drop below 15 degrees. Plant the seeds between April and June and you can harvest wonderfully fragrant green nuggets in mid-October. In good conditions, they can weigh as much as 600 grams per plant – good luck and enjoy!
